PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

National Artificial Intelligence Institute -  Adult Learning and Online Education

Founding member and part the executive board of the National Science Foundation funded National AI ALOE Institute. The Institute is made up of researchers and scholars from Harvard, Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt, Georgia State, Technical College System of Georgia, and NC State.  Mission is to create individualized artificial intelligent tutors to assist every student in learning.

  • Research technologies of the future for curriculum consideration
  • Design TECH Talks for Leadership conference hosting entrepreneurs, corporate CEOs, and key market-makers of disruptive technologies  (self-driving cars, nanobots, CRISPR, vertiports, etc.)
  • Co-host statewide leadership conference for 500 attendees
  • Responsible for developing a local board certification program for the state’s 22 technical colleges
  • Interface with Congressional representatives and their staff on policies that impact TCSG
  • Design and author Statewide Directory of local board policies

  • Board of Director’s Habitat for Humanity North Fulton – 2000-2004
  • Hosted Governor Barnes at Nortel campus events
  • Developed Nortel’s United Way Campaigns 
  • Managed the build of two Habitat homes
  • Recruited and led an army of volunteers to construct two playgrounds in Alpharetta, Ga.

  • Collaborated with Senior Management to produce Optical Networks’ Quarterly Marketing Investment Reports

  • Analyzed optical network routes and provided solutions for State Networks customers
  • Corporate representative at national telecommunication’s trade shows
  • Managed key relationship-building opportunities with government officials

  • Managed critical and complex optical network implementation in the New York Transit System.

Team placed sixth in the nation for Volleyball  at 1974 AIWA Tournament in Battle Creek, Michigan (AIWA precursor to NJCAA)
