Andrea Henderson

Andrea Henderson serves as the Executive Director of the Arkansas Community Colleges which provides leadership, strategic planning, policy, and professional development for the 22 community colleges in Arkansas. Prior to this, Andrea was the Executive Director of the Oregon Community College Association for 17 years.
Andrea is a frequent presenter at state and national conferences on a variety of issues including
community college funding, governance, advocacy skills, the Oregon Promise, and safety &
security. More recently, Andrea has been working on a project exploring the disruptive impact
advancements in Artificial Intelligence, automation, and blockchain technology will have on
community colleges and the leadership role for community colleges navigating these changes.
Andrea has a law degree from Willamette University College of Law, an undergraduate degree
in Political Science from Oregon State University and holds a certificate in Disruptive Innovation
from Harvard University Business School Online. Andrea also taught higher education law at
Oregon State University in the Community College Leadership Program.
